SAFETY FIRST MENTALITY

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we are still offering operator training via a live webinar class followed by one on one onsite drive time to fulfill OSHA requirements. Proper operator training is important and necessary to safely operate forklifts. Here are a few other reasons to keep employees certification up to date, even during these trying times.

SAVE MONEY

While it costs money to train employees, uncertified operators can be much more costly. Between forklift repairs, workers compensation, replacing damaged product, and fines for not following safety regulations, the money adds up quickly.

IMPROVE WORKPLACE SAFETY

Forklift certification also creates a safe environment for other employees and visitors to the facility.

AVOID OSHA AND STAY UP TO DATE WITH REGULATIONS

OSHA has established rules and regulations help prevent workplace accidents. OSHA requires employers to provide all workers with a safe workplace free of hazards. These rules dictate that forklift operators must be trained and certified to operate safely in the work enviroment.

IMPROVE MORALE AND LOWER WORKPLACE STRESS

When a company puts employee health and safety as a top priority, morale increases and stress decreases. By training employees how to operate a forklift, companies are investing in the safety of their employees, leading to more a satisfied and productive team.

MORE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Employees who have forklift certification have better access to higher paying jobs. A trained employee is much more desirable then one with no prior experience.

INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY

When an employee is confident and knowledgeable about the machine they are working with, it will reflect in the work that they produce.
