STARS AND STRIPES

In honor of the 4th of July, Norlift will be closed for the day. Don't know what to do while we're closed? Well, Portland has a lot of sparkle and boom to offer. Two local favorites are the Waterfront Blues Festival and the 4th of July Spectacular at Oaks Park.

WaterfronT Blues Festival

Celebrate the 31st Anniversary of this awe inspiring event. Starting at 10:30 AM, national and local bands bring blues, soul, funk, and R&B to the largest blues festival this side of the Mississippi. From the performances that will occupy four different stages, a wide array of food and vendors, river boat cruses and more, this event keeps patrons enthralled until a fireworks show beginning at 10:00 PM.

4th of July Spectacular at Oaks Park

For those with young ones, or who are young at heart, Oaks Park is a dream come true. The gates open at 10:00 AM and offer all the fun filled carnival activities of this iconic Portland park. With extended hours for the roller rink and amusement rides, the fun day will fly by until a fireworks show starting at dusk.
